Introduction:

I received several emails from developers saying that they want more video tutorials. So, I decided to make another small tutorial. In this tutorial I will demonstrate that how you can highlight the row of the GridView control when you put your mouse cursor over it.

Hi Sudhakar.koganti,

There are bunch of other videos available on videos.gridviewguy.com. There is a small subscription fee of only $10 but it is worth it.

I am sure you will like the video tutorials.

Thanks,
Azam

What about Themes. You don't know the color if the rows or even the highlight color. I think you would have to do something simular to your example but change the className for the row.

Hi David Birchok,

Yes, you will have to use className for the row.

Hi,
I am relatively new to using asp .net 2005 and i was assigned a task, and in this task i was asked to highlight the selected row in a gridview. I have my item template and in it i have a linkbutton, once this link button is clicked, i want to highlight the entire row, and if another row is clicked, the first row would not be highlighted anymore. Please help me if you can.
Thanks a bunch
